How can we help?

Getting Started

You can download a PDF report for any company profile:

Navigate to the company profile page
Click the "Download PDF" button in the header area
The report will be generated and downloaded automatically

The PDF report contains all the information displayed on the company profile page in a printable format, including basic details, status, registration dates, and business activities.

A company profile page shows all publicly available information from the official registry. Here's what each section means:
Basic information

Company name — the official registered name
Country — where the company is registered
Registration number — the unique identifier in the national registry
Status — Active, Inactive, Dissolved, or other status as reported by the registry
Legal form — the type of legal entity (e.g., Limited Liability Company, Joint Stock Company)
Registration date — when the company was first registered
Registered address — the official address on file with the registry
Business activity — description of the company's main business activities (where available)

Timeline
Shows key events in the company's history, such as registration date and current status.
Note: The data shown is sourced directly from official government registries. Not all fields are available for every country or company.

B2Trust lets you search for companies across multiple official government business registries from one place. To search:

Go to the homepage or use the search bar at the top of any page
Enter a company name, registration number, or VAT number
Optionally select a country to narrow your search to a specific registry
Click "Search" or press Enter

Results will display matching companies with their name, country, registration number, and status. Click on any result to view the full company profile.
Tips for better results:

Use the official company name (not trading names or abbreviations)
If searching by registration number, enter the full number including any prefixes
Try searching without country filter first if you're unsure where a company is registered

Registry Coverage

B2Trust queries official government registries in real-time or near real-time when you perform a search. This means:

Search results reflect the current state of the registry at the time of your query
Company profiles are fetched from the source registry when you view them
Data freshness depends on how frequently each government registry updates its own records

B2Trust does not cache or store company data long-term. Each search hits the official registry API directly, ensuring you always see the most current information available from the source.
Note: Some registries may experience delays in reflecting recent changes (e.g., a newly registered company may take a few business days to appear in the registry).

B2Trust currently aggregates data from the following official government business registries:
Czech Republic — ARES (Administrative Register of Economic Subjects)
Available data: company name, registration number, legal form, address, status, business activities.
Poland — KRS (National Court Register)
Available data: company name, KRS number, legal form, address, status, registration date.
Poland — Biała Lista (VAT Whitelist)
Available data: VAT status, bank account verification.
Norway — Brønnøysundregistrene (Brønnøysund Register Centre)
Available data: company name, organisation number, legal form, address, status, activities.
Germany — Handelsregister (Commercial Register)

EU-wide — VIES (VAT Information Exchange System)
Available data: VAT number validation, company name and address.
We are continuously working on adding more countries and registries. Visit our API Map page for an interactive view of current coverage.

Company Reports

Yes. Each company profile page has a "Share" button with three options:

Copy Link — copies the direct URL to the company profile to your clipboard
Share via Email — opens your email client with a pre-filled message containing the company profile link
Share on LinkedIn — opens LinkedIn sharing with the company profile URL

You can also simply copy the URL from your browser's address bar and share it.

The downloadable PDF report includes all information available on the company profile page:

Company name and country
Registration number
Legal form
Current status (Active, Inactive, etc.)
Registration date
Registered address
Business activities (where available)
Data source (which registry the information comes from)
Report generation date and time

The report is designed for documentation and record-keeping purposes. It is not a certified extract — for legally binding documents, please obtain an official extract directly from the relevant government registry.

API & Integration

Currently, B2Trust provides data in the following formats:

Web — interactive company profile pages in your browser
PDF — downloadable reports for individual companies

API access (when available) will return data in JSON format with structured fields for easy integration into your systems.

B2Trust offers API access for programmatic company lookups. The API will allow you to:

Search for companies by name, registration number, or VAT number
Retrieve company profile data in JSON format
Validate VAT numbers against VIES
Check bank accounts against the Polish Biała Lista

API documentation and access details will be published when available. If you're interested in API access, please contact us through the contact form and select "API Access Request" as the subject.

Verification & Trust

For companies registered in Poland, B2Trust can verify bank account numbers against the official Biała Lista (VAT Taxpayer Whitelist) maintained by the Polish Ministry of Finance.
This verification checks whether a given bank account number is officially associated with a specific taxpayer (identified by NIP/VAT number). This helps businesses confirm they are paying to the correct bank account, which is particularly important for Polish tax compliance.
How to use:

Navigate to a Polish company's profile
Use the bank account verification widget in the company profile
Enter the bank account number (IBAN format)
The system checks it against the Biała Lista and shows the result

B2Trust's Trust Level is a feature designed to provide a quick assessment of a company's verification status based on multiple data points. The Trust Level considers:

Whether the company is registered in an official government registry
Whether the company has an active status
Whether the VAT number is valid and confirmed through VIES
Whether bank account details match official records (where applicable, e.g., Polish Biała Lista)

The Trust Level is an informational indicator and should not be the sole basis for business decisions. Always conduct your own due diligence.

No. B2Trust is free to use and most features are available without registration. You can search for companies, view profiles, and download PDF reports without creating an account.
An account may be required for certain features such as saving favourite companies, accessing API keys, or receiving notifications about company changes (coming soon).

Data & Privacy

Yes. B2Trust takes data protection seriously:

We only display business entity data from public government registries — we do not collect or process personal data beyond what is necessary for platform operation
Analytics data is anonymised
Contact form submissions are retained for a limited period
You can exercise your data rights (access, rectification, erasure) at any time

For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.

All data displayed on B2Trust comes from official, publicly accessible government business registries. We do not use:

Private databases
Credit agencies
Social media
Web scraping of non-official sources

Each company profile clearly indicates which registry the data was sourced from. For a full list of supported registries, visit our API Map page or see the "Registry Coverage" section in this knowledge base.

Troubleshooting

If your downloaded PDF report has layout or character display problems:

Try a different PDF viewer — some issues are viewer-specific. Try opening in Adobe Acrobat Reader, your browser's built-in PDF viewer, or another application
Re-download — occasionally a download may be interrupted. Try generating the report again
Report the issue — if the problem persists, contact us through the contact form and include: the company name, the country/registry, a description of the issue, and if possible a screensho

B2Trust displays data directly from official government registries. If information appears incorrect:

Verify at the source — check the official government registry website directly to confirm whether the data matches
Registry delays — some registries take days or weeks to reflect recent changes (new registrations, address changes, status updates)
Report it — if the data on B2Trust differs from the official registry, please report it through our contact form with the company name, registry, and the discrepancy you've noticed

We do not modify registry data — what you see on B2Trust is what the government registry provides. If the source data is incorrect, the company needs to update their records with the relevant registry authority.

If your search isn't returning results, try these steps:

Check the spelling — use the official registered company name, not trading names or abbreviations
Try the registration number — searching by a company's official registration number (e.g., KRS number, IČO, organisation number) is often more reliable
Remove the country filter — the company may be registered in a different country than expected
Try partial names — enter just the main word of the company name instead of the full legal name
Check registry coverage — B2Trust currently covers Czech Republic, Poland, Norway, Germany, and EU-wide VAT validation. If the company is registered elsewhere, it may not yet be available

If you still cannot find a company that you know exists in a supported registry, please report the issue through our contact form.
