Finland's Trade Register is maintained by PRH (Patentti- ja rekisterihallitus), the Patent and Registration Office. Every registered company receives a unique Y-tunnus (Business ID) in the format XXXXXXX-X. Company types include OY (private limited company), OYJ (public limited company), KY (limited partnership), and AY (general partnership). B2Trust verifies Finnish companies through the PRH open data API and EU VAT validation.
