Cleaner search-engine signals for company profiles
We changed how /company/{id} profile pages identify themselves to search engines. Each company profile is rendered in 10 languages, but the underlying business data (legal name, registration ID, address) is identical across all of them — only the surrounding UI is translated. Search engines were treating all 10 locale variants as separate pages and rejecting nine of every ten as duplicates, leaving a backlog of profiles waiting to be indexed.
Every locale variant now declares the English version as its canonical URL while still serving the localized UI to users. The XML sitemap was reduced from roughly 28 000 URLs to about 2 800. Search engines should consolidate the signal onto one clean profile per company within a few weeks. If you bookmarked a non-English company URL it still works — only the SEO signal changed.
